A Class Luxury Motorhomes Rentals Rental Terms

Insurance Drivers
must be aged between 25 and 70 with a minimum of 2 years full UK/EU driving licence. Driving is restricted to main driver. However we can allow other drivers for a small charge. On booking we will require a copy of your driving licence, as well as any other drivers’ details and licences. Cover is for the UK only. However we do offer European cover for an extra charge of £10 per day. In the event of any claim the hirer will pay the first £650 to cover excess and loss of use.

Bookings
A non refundable booking deposit is required to secure your motorhome booking. The exact amount is detailed in the breakdown of pricing.
A second stage payment of 15% is taken shortly after booking confirmation as a separate transaction.
The remaining balance is due in full, 35 days before the commencement of hire.
Payments can be made by debit or credit card(Visa or MasterCard) (credit card surcharge is 2.5%), cash or cheque (7 days to clear).

Cancellation Fees
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
More than 31 days before date of collection you will pay £150.
More than 17 days before date of collection you will pay £200.
Less than 17 days before date of collection you will pay the full hire fee.

Security Deposit
You will be required to pay a security deposit of £650 before collection. Again this can be paid by credit or debit card, cash or cheque. Please be aware that your cheque will be cashed and then returned in the form of a cheque. Your security deposit will then be returned to you 2 weeks after you have returned the vehicle, where no damage has occurred and you have not incurred any driving offences. This security deposit covers any non-insurable damage or losses, as well as additional fees listed on the contract.

Collection and Return

We will agree a collection time and return time with you at the date of booking. It is very important that the vehicle is collected and returned at these times, in order for the vehicle to be ready for further customers. On collection we will need to see the driving licences (both parts) for all drivers, and a recent utility bill for each driver. Please allow at least one hour for handovers on collection and return. On collection you have a full tank of diesel and this must be full on return.

Accident or Breakdown
In the event of an accident you must contact A Class Motorhome rentals as soon as possible and make notes of what has happened, taking the details of any other vehicles and drivers involved. In the event of breakdown you are covered for roadside assistance details of which will be inside the vehicle. Again you must inform A Class Motorhome rentals as soon as possible. You, the hirer, will be responsible for any damage that occurs due to your own negligence.

Pets
You are more than welcome to bring your pets, but they must not be left unattended in the vehicle and must be visibly clean and toilet trained. Any damage caused by them you will be charged for.

Smoking
Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the vehicle. Neither is the use of candles or barbeques! When you hire one of our vehicles you are expected to take care of it and treat it as you would your own home. Please see contract for details of your responsibilities.


Frequently Asked Questions

Does the price include insurance?
Yes fully comprehensive insurance is included in the hire price. However if travelling to Europe there is a small extra charge per day to increase this insurance. The insurance only covers the for the use of the vehicle and is not a standard holiday insurance.

What do we need to bring with us?
You only need to bring your bedding and personal belongings.

Do you supply bedding?
We often have customers from overseas who require this service, so we can supply bedding should you require it. There will be a small charge per person for this.

Do you supply outside furniture?
Yes all our motorhomes carry outside furniture and also a gas barbeque for your alfresco dinning. This is standard and is at no extra charge.

Can we travel to Europe?
Yes you can travel to Europe but you must inform us as we will need to increase the insurance on the vehicle.

Can you deliver and collect the Motorhome? ie, to our home.
Yes we can deliver and collect the vehicle, however this will depend on the location, and there is a charge for this service.

Can we collect the vehicle yet you pick it up from another destination? ie Europe.
Yes this is possible and again there is a charge for this service.

Can we take our dog?
Yes you can take pets but they must be visibly clean and toilet trained. Any damage the cause you will be charged for and they must not be left in the motorhome unattended. Some of our customers who have dogs will bring their cages with them. We must be informed if you plan to take your pet. We regret to say that pets are only allowed in certain motorhomes, please ask at time of booking.

Is the hire restricted to one driver only?

No you can have additional drivers, however there is a small extra charge.

Do you accept parties of the same sex?
We regret to say that we do not accept same sex parties when they are for stag and hen do's or music festivals.

Is there a TV in the motorhome?
Yes all our motorhomes are fitted with flat screen tv/dvd/cd players and include freeview.

Can we take our push bikes?
Yes all our vehicles will accommodate bikes, however some have smaller garages than others so we will need to know how many you are taking at the time of booking.

Is there an extra mileage charge?
No we allow unlimited mileage, but we need to have a some idea when booking of where you plan to go.

What is the security deposit for?
The security deposit is paid by our customers before collection. this is to cover any insurance excess in the event of an accident and any damage caused by the hirer. This also covers any possible road traffic and speeding offences, as well as failure to follow our terms and conditions. All our vehicles are very expensive and we aim to maintain their high standard for future customers.

Do I need a special driving licence to drive the motorhomes?
For vehicles over 3.5 tonnes you will require category C1 on your licence. most people have this and you can check by looking at the bottom line on the plastic part of your licence.

Can you take the mother in law?
Yes, she can ethier go on the roof rack, or in the garage with the dog.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.

A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Car rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 25.00
To add or remove extras to/from a confirmed booking: 10.00
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.

Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
